We are excited to offer you the Jing Mei 2025/26 Spring/Summer After-School Programs! This session will run from March 9 - June 12 (11-13 classes depending on day of week).
We will follow a first-come, first-served registration principle. Please only sign up for one program as space is limited.
Please note the grade limitations for each program.
Please note we are using Google Forms this year to sign up (vs ParentSquare).
PTSA members will have Early Bird Sign up, and Parent volunteers will receive priority sign up.
Google Sign Up form will be released on 2/19 for Early Bird (PTSA members) and 2/24 for General Registration.
Please go to the Google Form link and sign up for your SINGLE desired class.
Sign ups are time stamped. Registration will be on a first come first serve. We will save additional sign-ups for our waitlist.
Those who also agree to be a volunteer are guaranteed a spot and will jump to the head of the registration list. Max of two volunteers per class.
Early Bird will be offered to all PTSA members. To qualify, please join the PTSA by Wednesday 2/18 to qualify for Early Bird sign up.
Sign up here: Join the PTSA Now!
PTSA membership will be cross-referenced using your email address. Use the same email address to sign up for both the PTSA and Afterschool Program.
Late enrollment into the PTSA will not be re-visited for Early Bird registration.
Please note: Google Forms does not allow us to cap registration spots, so signing up on the Google Form does not necessarily mean you are registered. We will be collating the sign ups and will notify you via email no later than Tues, March 3rd confirming your child’s spot in class. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means your child did not get a spot in the class.
Due to changes in BSD policy, parents will be paying the PTSA directly and not the vendor. We are also now required to charge a 10.3% sales tax to be paid to the government.
There are two ways to send payment:
Zelle payment to financial-secretary@bmdl-ptsa.org and make sure to add a memo with your child’s name & class choice so we can track.
Write a check to “BMDL PTSA” and drop it in the PTSA box in the front office. Please make sure to add a memo with your child’s name & class choice so we can track.
Payment must be received no later than Sunday, March 8. If you do not pay by this date, you may forfeit to your spot to the next kid on the waitlist.
Please make sure to write a memo with your child’s name and class choice. If not, we will not be able to track your payments and may need to ask you to pay again.
As a BSD requirement, we need up to two parent volunteers to participate in each of our after-school classes. This is important because:
BSD regulations require that each after-school class must have at least one parent volunteer for the entire session. If there are no volunteers, the class will be canceled.
Volunteers will have a GUARANTEED spot for their children. A 50% discount will be awarded to each volunteer spot, up to two volunteers maximum.
If a parent volunteer is not present for a single class and there is no coordinated backup, that day's class will have to be canceled - without refund for all students that day.
Parent Volunteers are required to submit a Level 3 Background check. Please use the same email for all registration (PTSA, Afterschool Sign up, and Background Check) BSD Volunteer Background Check
Please find volunteer expectations here.

McVander Street Hockey https://www.mcvanderhockey.com/
No ice. No skating. Ball hockey is similar to ice hockey, but players wear tennis shoes and play on a hard surface using a ball instead of a puck. It is a super-fun, fast-paced, team-oriented sport that emphasizes strategy, speed, and agility. Your student will have a blast! No experience required! In fact, almost all the kids that start playing ball hockey with us have never played before. Through exciting games & challenges and friendly scrimmages, players develop confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills. Our experienced coaches will guide them every step of the way, starting with basic hockey fundamentals like stickhandling, passing, shooting, and positioning. We will make sure they learn the game of hockey the right way, in a supportive and fun environment. Every student goes home with a McVander Hockey t-shirt and wristband.

By appreciating diverse themes and artists, students are encouraged to create with a variety of materials, from playful collages to themed creations, resulting in hybrid art pieces. Through hands-on practice, children will explore the properties of materials and integrate interdisciplinary knowledge into their own artistic creations.
